In partnership with CMHC, UPRC is advancing a nation-wide housing strategy to address the missing middle through dedicated affordable and at-market rental units. UPRC’s goal over the next fifteen years is to deliver homes for 37,000 Canadians including 5000 affordable units, integrated into safe, healthy, and resilient communities.

Heritage Urban Sites:

Complex projects that preserve and enhance existing heritage structures for community & cultural spaces while also providing new build rental housing.

Urban Infill/ Mid-Rise:

Mid-rise infill projects within urban areas that also enhance the public realm.

Gentle Densification:

Projects designed to fit harmoniously within existing established neighborhoods.

Greenfield Housing:

Larger sites with significant natural heritage and relatively low-density built forms.
